Ideally, we are looking for someone who has a strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements across compliance. You’ll be confident in coaching and guiding colleagues at various levels as well as being able to demonstrate strong influencing skills- able to build trust and drive positive change.
You’ll need to be able to carry out sensitive checks in funeral care environments, demonstrating dignity, respect and professionalism at all times.
This role requires a high level of organisation and the ability to manage your workload effectively.
Flexibility with regards to travel as well as a full UK driving licence, are essential.
You’ll need to be confident using Microsoft Office programmes as well as experience with using digital system to complete audits, record findings and manage follow up actions.
You will need to have GCSE grades A-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Desirable qualifications include:
- Level 3 in Food Safety.
- Level 2 in HACCP.
- IOSH Managing Safely.
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).
- APEA certification, or relevant petroleum safety qualification.
- A recognized qualification in alcohol licensing e.g. BIIAB Level 2 Award for Personal License Holders.
